についてお話しさせていただきました。
航空機自体のカテゴリーということで、
荷重の制限値によって
グループが分かれていることなど
覚えていただけましたか？
今回は、
Aircraft Documents Required (必要な航空機の文書)
についてお話したいと思います。
パイロットが飛行する時、
携帯しなければならない書類
というのがありましたね。
PPM
覚えていますか?
P Pilot certificate
パイロットの証明書
P Photo ID
写真付きID
M Medical certificate, if required
健康診断書、もし必要なら
の3つでしたね。
航空機も同じように
確かな文書を搭載していなければ
飛行することはできません。
それらはどういうものなのか・・・
まず初めに耐空証明書です。
次に登録証明書、
それから運用限界指定書です。
では、１つずつ見ていきましょう。
AIRWOTHINESS CERTIFICATE
(耐空証明書)
これは航空機の強度・構造・性能が
安全性及び環境保全のための
基準に適合するかを検査し、
その基準に適合していると
認める証明のことです。
簡単にいうと
車の車検証のようなものです。
内容は同じようでも
決定的に違うことがあります。
それは、有効期限がないということです。
FAAの規則に従って維持され操作される限り満期がないのです。

REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE
(登録証明書)
車は登録ナンバーを取得しなければ
公道を走ることはできませんね。
飛行機も同じです。
アメリカで登録された機体は
アルファベットのNを頭に
数字または英数字の
組合せコードが登録されるわけですね。
例）N2462P
この登録証明は、
3年間の有効期間があるのです。

：満了する 3年後 前回の満了から
それから、
OPERATING LIMITATIONS
(運用限界指定書) も
航空機に搭載されていないとダメですよ。
中身は、エンジン運用の限界値など
その他色々な限界値が記載されています。
また計器盤に記されたマーキングや
プラカードといったもの
上の例では、
マニューヴァリング スピードが
表示されています。
こういったものも含め組合せて
運用限界指定書として
活用することが重要になります。

最後のウェイト・アンド・バランスは、
実際には、
O (Operating Limitations) の中に
含まれているのですが、
非常に重要な内容ですので
敢えて W として分けてみました。
これまで筆記テスト対策として
Aerodynamics, Airspace, Flight Instrument,
Weather などカテゴリー別に学んできました。
Weight and Balanceは、
それだけで１つのカテゴリーに
なるくらいの大事なものです。
今後詳しくお話しする予定です。
今回は名前だけ覚えてくださいね。
AROW というキーワードを覚えてしまえば
航空機内に搭載しなければならない文書は、
あれとあれとだなという感じに思い出せるはずです。
もう一つ特殊なケースとして
軽スポーツ航空機や自家製航空機に対しては、
特別な耐空証明書が発行されます。
その特別な耐空証明書は
単独の耐空証明書ではなく
運用限界指定書が一緒に
つけられた形になっています。
それだけ覚えておいてください。
